Aleks (52) is insufficiently established writer who rearranges someone else’s texts. He is vital, educated, talented yet misanthropic person. One day, a girl Romi (16) comes into his life. Aleks tells her a story of his childhood in several major flashbacks… How I Was Stolen by the Germans tells the story of Miloš Radivojević‘s childhood and the people he grew up with. As a child he felt neglected by his communist family and was taken care of by a German officer, an occupier during the World War II, and, at the same time, the only person who offered him love and warmth during his child-hood. |
