The MIOB Festival Network has created and has been actively promoting the Green Charter For Film Festivals platform for several years, continuously working to collect data and develop solutions to reduce waste and pollution. This year, festivals are taking the next step in this important mission.
French eco-consultant Agathe Duliscouet is assisting festivals in establishing standards for monitoring key environmental aspects of their events. With the support of local eco-consultants at each festival, sustainable solutions are being developed to address the environmental challenges these events face.
During the 32nd European Film Festival Palić, consultations between festival representatives and eco-experts will culminate in a panel discussion open to all participants from the film and festival industries, as well as representatives of the civil sector and public services. The panel will present experiences from different countries, along with potential solutions and the benefits of integrating environmental responsibility into event organization.
