Consequences of Using Depleted Uranium Ammunition in 1999 NATO Aggression - Inspiration for Cinematographers

Twenty-four years have passed since the NATO aggression against the former Yugoslavia. The consequences are still being felt in the pollution of water, air and soil, especially due to the use of depleted uranium ammunition and the destruction of chemical plants. Doctors from different fields, above all oncologists, claim from experience that this has led to a drastic increase of the number of people suffering from malignant and autoimmune diseases. However, everything comes down to estimates from different sources, because there is no systematic research.

Is this topic inspiring for cinematographers who, through documentaries, present real events, people, emotions and reactions, all with the aim of informing and educating audiences?
