For years, climate scientist Jason Box has traveled to Greenland to monitor the melting ice sheet and verify data collected from his research stations. Yet he has come to believe that facts alone are not enough to raise awareness of the climate crisis. Determined to take action, he launches an ambitious project to plant trees along the ice sheet with the help of local Greenlanders and volunteers. In a landscape where trees have never grown before, rising temperatures have made the seemingly impossible conceivable. But Box soon discovers that his vision is far from universally embraced.
